"Investigate" Magazine Article Seen for the Spurious Muck-Raking It Is

"It is great that the Police Complaints Authority has seen the "Investigate" magazine article for the spurious muck-racking it is," Police Association President Greg O'Connor said today.

Mr O'Connor was commenting on Hon Justice Lowell Goddard's media release today, advising that she had determined that none of the allegations in a recent "Investigate" magazine article, are matters requiring investigation or other action by the Authority.

Mr O'Connor said, "Of course this will not satisfy the hard-core conspiracy theorists, but these people will only ever be satisfied when they get the answers they want."

"If people have a complaint or information about Police they need to go to the Police Complaints Authority so it can be properly investigated, not the media where often reputations can be needlessly damaged or even destroyed."
