Anglican Archbishops support emergency appeal for the Solomon Islands
The leaders of the Anglican Church in these islands have urged Anglicans to reach out to the victims of the Solomon Islands earthquake and tsunami.
Archbishops Brown Turei, David Moxon and Jabez Bryce have also endorsed the Christian World Service Emergency Relief Appeal for the victims of the Solomons’ disaster.
The appeal will help in the rebuilding, rehabilitation and restoration of people’s lives in the Solomons.
The Archbishops support this appeal, and those of other Christian agencies which are also seeking to relieve the suffering in the Solomons, and they have called upon the people of the Anglican Church in Aotearoa, New Zealand and Polynesia Aotearoa to pray earnestly for our Pacific neighbours in their time of emergency.
