Apology for all offences against children

PRESS RELEASE. For Immediate Release
The judicial process concerning Mr John Gainsford's offending against children while he was the officer in charge of The Salvation Army children's home at Temuka, has now concluded. The Salvation Army unequivocally apologizes to those who have been offended against in this case and in respect of any other offending at any other home. We deeply regret the events and the hurts which occurred.
