The New Zealand Memorial in London’s Hyde Park Corner will be dedicated this weekend.

The full ceremony will be broadcast live at 3.20 am on TVNZ on Sunday November 12.

Replays will be broadcast on TVNZ at 10 am on Sunday morning (hour of highlights) and at midday on Maori Television (full ceremony – two hours).

Kim Hill, on her Radio New Zealand show, will be interviewing Dave Dobbyn on Saturday morning at 8am, prior to his performance at the ceremony.

From 9am on Sunday, photographs of the dedication ceremony will be available on the MCH London Memorial site:

Her Majesty the Queen, the Duke of Edinburgh and other royals will attend the ceremony, together with Prime Ministers Helen Clark and Tony Blair, and other NZ and UK dignitaries.

A total of 1750 public tickets have been distributed, with well over 2000 people likely to attend.

The memorial commemorates the enduring bonds between New Zealand and the United Kingdom, and the shared sacrifice of the two nations in times of conflict.
