Educational stall and fund raising appeal

Press Release – for Immediate Release

Campaign Against Factory Farming (CAFF) will be running an educational stall and fund raising appeal outside the Body Shop on Cuba Mall on Saturday 23 September. CAFF recently appeared on a "60 minutes" programme exposing the cruelties, environmental damage and human health hazards associated with severe confinement of pigs, layer hens and broiler chooks. CAFF are appealing for more funds to run similar successful education campaigns and to pay for possible legal action against the government following its refusal to comply with the recommendations of the Regulations Review Committee and stipulate a date for an end to factory farming.

The stall will run from 12 to 2pm, and will be followed at 2pm by a demonstration outside distributors selling battery eggs.
