Largest auction of Army Landrovers looms
The second and the largest lot of Army V8 Landrovers will be auctioned 'on site' at Linton Military Camp on Wednesday 24 May 2006 at 10.30am.
One hundred and eight Landrovers will go under the hammer. 68 landrovers auctioned at Burnham last week sold. The final auction will be held at Trentham Military Camp next week.
The Army has replaced the Landrovers with new Pinzgauer Light Operational Vehicles, which provide enhanced and increased mobility.
The Landrovers can be viewed at Linton prior to the auction on Tuesday 23 May.
