The New Zealand Parole Board today approved an application for back-end home detention (available to offenders who are within 3 months of their parole eligibility dates) from Donna Awatere-Huata.
The Board's full written decision should be available later tomorrow.
Ms Awatere-Huata will appear for a parole hearing in July.
No further comment will be made before then. No release date will be made public.
