Jewish protest at Iranian Embassy
Members of the Wellington Jewish community will demonstrate 12 noon, Monday 19 December outside the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Wellington [151 Te Anau Road, Hataitai].
They will attempt to deliver a letter to the ambassador for the Iranian president, who said last week that the Holocaust was a myth.
"The Iranian president's statements are totally unacceptable to the New Zealand Jewish community, and we have to tell him so," said New Zealand Jewish Council president Stephen Goodman.
