Destiny 'Rocks the Vote' in Otara
Destiny New Zealand shared main stage with chart-toppers, 'Cydel & Groove House' at the Otara markets today.
Former South Auckland Police Sergeant and party leader Richard Lewis joined the pop group from South Auckland in presenting the party's message of protecting, empower and prospering New Zealand families.
"This event combined music and politics to bring awareness over important issues that impact on our families. Judging by the response, our message of upholding traditional family values is hitting the mark," Mr Lewis said.
Next Saturday the party's Pacific Island candidates will join Cydel again and will incorporate youth and cultural performances.
"Based on the feedback we have been getting, this electorate (Manukau East) is sick and tired of Labours social engineering and high taxation - they want genuine change and Destiny New Zealand can provide that," said Mr Lewis.
Richard Lewis is Destiny New Zealand's candidate for Manukau East.
