Morning Report hit by strike
Industrial action has forced National Radio’s Morning Report programme off the air this morning.
Members of the Engineering, Printing and Manufacturing Union and the Public Service Association walked off the job at 5am today and won’t return until 9am.
Similar action on Friday meant that the Checkpoint programme did not go to air.
The 180 workers are seeking a five per cent pay rise. The state broadcaster is offering three per cent.
