Is the media outraged By Choudhary's comments?

5 July 2005

Why is the media not outraged?

Reformation Testimony Garnet Milne PhD

Why is Labour not under attack when Dr. Choudray their Muslim MP (who swore on the Koran when he entered parliament) has argued that the Koran correctly calls for the stoning of adulterers and homosexuals? He could have added that it also approves of men beating their wives.

Here we have a man who votes for the Civil Union bill which legalised homosexual marriage, but who believes that it is ok to stone homosexuals in Muslim societies. The only reason he does not believe that adulterers and homosexuals should be stoned in New Zealand seems to be because we are not a Muslim society yet.

Although some media have reported this Labour MP’s views, they are barely bleating about it. Just imagine what would happen if one of the UF politicians or Destiny or the CHNZ said that adulterers and homosexuals should be stoned to death in a Christian society? However we do not expect to see outrage from the politically correct media, including this scoop website.
