‘Nation under Siege’ draws over 400 locals in Tauranga
Bishop Tamaki’s ‘Nation under Siege’ tour attracted over 400 locals to the Holy Trinity Anglican Church in Tauranga last
night.
Bishop Tamaki addressed a common misconception about the church and the political party. “It is important to understand
that Destiny Church is separate from Destiny New Zealand the political party. The church and state are separate in
function but you cannot separate religion from politics in the sense that there are politicians with belief systems
making decisions that impact on our families every day. Their belief systems are diametrically opposed to Christianity
and the traditional values of our country,” he said.
The Bishop has produced a 30 minute DVD expose that is handed out free of charge to all who attend the public meetings.
The controversial message, aimed primarily at the Christian community details (1) A government gone evil (2) A radical
homosexual agenda (3) The media – a modern day witchcraft and (4) the retreat of religion.
The tour arrives in Hamilton today (Friday 24th June) with a 7.30pm public meeting at the Kingsgate Hotel on Garnett
Ave. The Bishop will be joined by Richard Lewis, leader of Destiny New Zealand, and the party’s local candidates. For
