Executive Granted Leave To Take Up NZQA Role

ERO Chief Executive Granted Leave To Take Up Nzqa Acting Role
The Chief Executive and Chief Review Officer of the Education Review Office, Karen Sewell, has been granted unpaid leave in order to take up an Acting Chief Executive role at the New Zealand Qualifications Authority, the State Services Commissioner, Mark Prebble, announced today.
"Karen Sewell is an experienced Public Service chief executive with a wide knowledge of the education sector. I support her taking up this challenging role in the wider State Services and welcome her commitment to ensuring the important work of the NZQA continues over the next four months.
"Karen Sewell has appointed Mike Hollings, ERO's National Manager Analysis and Policy, to be the Acting Chief Review Officer during her absence," Mark Prebble said.
