PSA reach recommended settlement with WDHB for clerical and administrative workers

The Public Services Association (PSA) and the Waikato District Health Board (WDHB) reached a proposed settlement in mediation yesterday for clerical and administrative staff employed by the DHB who are covered by the PSA collective agreement.

The mediation talks followed a second two-day strike by PSA members last week in support of a Fair Pay offer.

PSA advocate for the negotiations, Linda Holt says the union’s negotiating team will be recommending members vote to accept the revised offer at stop work meetings to be held early next week.

The PSA has withdrawn notices of strike action set down for 9-12 May have been withdrawn by the PSA ahead of the stop work meetings next week.
