The NZ Association of Rationalists and Humanists will be holding its annual conference on Saturday 16th October. In a year which has seen public controversy over the Civil Unions Bill and the spectacle of displays of religious and political intolerance, an appropriate them has been chosen for the conference: The Tolerant Society and its Enemies.
The keynote speaker will be Hon. Chris Carter MP; other speakers will be talking on subjects that are important to all who believe in a free and tolerant society.
