Margaret Voyce declares that she wants to actively grow the National Party membership, but also show the people of Tamaki what a difference new involvement, fresh ideas, and a real choice that the electorate can make.

"One of my key goals is to extend the list vote in Tamaki. This will not only ensure a National Government, led by Don Brash is elected in 2005, but will also mean that New Zealand will be lead back to a path of harmony and success," says Voyce.

"Since announcing my candidacy, I have been overwhelmed by the warm welcome & fantastic support from so many members of the Tamaki electorate. Without doubt, the people of Tamaki are relishing the chance to have a contested National Party selection, and active representation in Wellington once more".

Voyce also says that her vision for Tamaki and the Eastern Bays area is to have an excellent working relationship with the other elected officials who work within the bounds of the electorate.

"I pledge that should I be chosen as the National candidate for Tamaki, I will actively seek the views of my constituents as well as the councillors who are personally known to me. One of the strengths that I bring is my ability to leverage existing and new relationships with the newly elected Community Board and the other community representatives".

"We will all work for a better community, a better government, and a better lifestyle for everyone living in the Tamaki Electorate".
