New Zealander killed in Iraq
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade has been informed that a New Zealander working in the Iraqi city of Kirkuk has died in hospital following an attack by gunmen. Two other men are thought to have died at the scene.
We understand that next of kin have not yet been told and so at this stage we cannot release any information that would identify the man.
