On May 14-15 some 70 high profile business leaders, politicians, and cultural and sporting figures from both sides of the Tasman will meet at Government House, Wellington for the inaugural Australia-New Zealand Leadership Forum.

The Forum has been set up to develop a network of visionary people in a wide range of sectors who can positively influence the growth of the Australia-New Zealand relationship. It is chaired by BNZ chair Kerry McDonald and Qantas chair Margaret Jackson.

Mr McDonald will host a media conference to explain the Forum at 11am on Tuesday May 11, 4th floor BNZ headquarters (1 Willis St, Victoria St entrance). It would be helpful if you could indicate likely attendance by replying to this email or phoning MFAT media adviser Jonathan Schwass on (04) 439 8205.

There will be another media conference during the Forum itself, at Government House at 1.10pm on Saturday May 15. Further details to follow.
