Police Overkill Medicinal Cannabis Patient

We constantly hear of a shortfall in the police budget and then we hear of this obscene waste of money. [ emails below ]

When will this government get off its proverbial backside and assist the sick and suffering in this country? Both Judges and doctors are accepting the medical evidence and it is about time the government took note.

The following emails were received by GreenCross recently and it shows we are targeting the wrong people in relation to cannabis use.

Can the Ministers of Justice and health please respond to this apparent waste of police resources.

Hello there, I listened to Greg Soar and Annette King today with interest, and while the Minister seemed somewhat sympathetic to the plight of medical marijuana users, I think she still does not understand the effect living under a criminal law has, and the consequences of breaking that law. Hi, I use pot to ease the nausea from my chemotherapy drugs. I had the pleasure of being visited by 18 police with flak jackets and side arms wit 9 vehicles and 4 dogs. A helicoptor hovering overhead and a fixed winf plane circling at low altitiude. I have no previous drug convictions, and this search netted them 6 plant, Hydroponically in vegetation stage approx 30 cm in height. OK I was got, but the overkill of personel when they scream about staff shortage. And complete with cameras and filming for the police ten-one program by greenstone productions.

What I am wanting to know?? Is there a site that explains the legality of what these thugs can lawfully take from my property, as they removed many items not related to the growing, and Smashed up other eqipment including a shed that was part of the original building and not purpose built for growing. Removed fishing eqipment, Caravan electical leads, and lots of general garden eqipment. I was growing indoors, NOT OUTDOORS.

I am a 58 year old male in poor health, cancer and heart disease, and these thugs must have listened to an informant who got it all wrong.
