WTO Mini-Ministerial this week in Sydney
Professor Jane Kelsey will be speaking on "The MAI Revisited: WTO Negotiations on Investment and Procurement" at the Seminar on Alternatives to the WTO Agenda, organised by the Australian Fair Trade and Investment Network (AFTINET) in Sydney on Sunday 10 November.
Keynote speakers at the Seminar are Aileen Kwa from Focus on the Global South in Thailand, and Hira Jhamtani from the Institute for Global Justice in Indonesia, with other Australian speakers from the Manufacturing Workers Union, Medecines Sans Frontiers, Uniting Church, Greenpeace, AID/WATCH among others.
