student debt on women research to be presentented

Research to be Presented on the 26 September
The Hon. Ruth Dyson, Minister for Women’s Affairs, has agreed to sponsor the presentation of important new research into the post-study effects of student debt on women. The research, produced by the Aotearoa Tertiary Students’ Association, will be presented to an invited audience at the Beehive next week.

“Twelve months of research has produced enabled us to produce a comprehensive picture of the post study effects of the Student Loan Scheme on women,” said Julie Pettett, President of ATSA. “We are honoured to have the support of the Minister in presenting this work to the public. We believe its findings will make a positive contribution to discussions around some of the major educational and social challenges faced by women.”
