Poverty In New Zealand – Debate July 17th

Come and hear representatives from all major parties talk about POVERTY IN NEW ZEALAND - What are the issues? What are the solutions? Let's get some REAL issues back on the political agenda.! 1 in 4 NZ children are still growing up in poverty and there is still a systemic failure at Work & Income to deliver special benefit assistance to those most in need.

Wellington People's Centre is holding a political forum to discuss "Poverty in New Zealand. What are the causes and What are the solutions" Representatives from the main political parties will be there to talk and answer questions from the floor about what they would do if they form part of the next Govt.

Wednesday July 17th 2002 - 7.30pm

Wellington People's Centre, Lukes Lane (off Taranaki St) Doors open 7pm.
