Shopping With The Ayatollah
"Laila Harre should butt out of businesses she doesn't own and should not control" said Libertarianz Commerce Deregulation spokesman Scott Wilson in response to the Associate Minister of Labour's jackbooted assertion of Ayatollah-like control of small business.
"Rodney Hide's Bill on liberalisation of trading hours should have the support of all parties that believe people should own their own lives, letting people at the grassroots determine when people wish to trade and wish to shop. However, everyone knows the Alliance spits on the productive and worships the whinging, snivelling, non-achieving retards that want control of everything they don't make, don't own and don't like."
"All this means is that Laila Harre supports the Shopping Hours Red Guard of the Labour Ministry joylessly punishing business owners whose only offence was to offer products for sale on days that she thinks are sacred. In addition to her claims of "protecting" people who simply choose to do what they wish with their property and lives, Ms Harre clearly thinks that because some Christians celebrate Easter and Christmas that people of all religions and no religion must be forced to comply with these days".
"One of the first steps of a Libertarianz Government would be to abolish all laws on retail trading hours, for all commodities, and let people for the first time decide when and what of their own property they want to buy and sell."
