Media Advisory – PSA AGM
The PSA is holding its 2001 Annual General Meeting on Tuesday 15 and Wednesday 16 October at Dalmuir House Conference Centre 114 the Terrace.
Around 60 delegates representing members in central government, local government and health will be meeting to discuss a range of issues including;
- A report on the progress of the union's Partnership for Quality agreement
- Strategies for the union leading up to the 2002 election
- Development of national qualifications for union delegates
- Launch of the new PSA website
- Resolutions from sector committees.
Key speakers at the AGM are:
- Patricia O'Donovan - ILO Director on Strengthening Social Dialogue and former Deputy General Secretary of the Irish Trade Union Congress (speaking at 10.50 a.m. Tuesday 16th)
- Margaret Wilson -Minister of Labour launching the National Certificate in Employment Relations in the Public Sector (5.00 p.m. on Tuesday 16th October).
