Human Rights Commissioner On Violence Threats

Release for the media:
“The Human Rights Commission unequivocally condemns any use of violence or threats of violence. There is no place for them in New Zealand today and they can not ever be condoned or justified” said Chief Human Rights Commissioner Rosslyn Noonan.
Ms.Noonan’s strongly worded comments were made in response to news media reports of threats against people involved in the resignation of a Human Rights Commissioner.
