Civil Union Bill

PRESS RELEASE RIGHT TO LIFE NEW ZEALAND
Right to Life New Zealand opposes Tim Barnett's Civil Union Bill which would see homosexual unions on a par with marriage. Christians who value traditional family life should view this deadly agenda with alarm. Unfortunately the leader of our country, Helen Clark is sympathetic to giving gay and lesbian couples the ability to have their relationships recognised in law(18 June TV 3 news). This is the latest attack on the family and is a grave error with very dire consequences. There are many implications to this 'Sodom and Gomorrah' legislation'. Christian celebrants will be pressured into conducting civil unions against their beliefs. Such unions are an abomination in God's eyes. Marriage will be phased out and become a mere subset of the so-called civil union. The young will be given models of relationships which society has deemed normal when in fact they represent an aberration. Who will oppose such a monstrous bill? We encourage MPs to protect the family and the least among us by voting against such leg
