A Question Of Priorities: Chicks Or Babies!

“The media fuss of the past three days about the destruction by maceration of day-old chicks was presumably intended to show the lack of compassion in the Poultry Industry,” Graham Capill said.
“While all creatures should be treated humanely, it is ironic that the destruction of more than 15,000 unborn babies annually causes scarcely a ripple in any section of the media,” he said.
“Those who endeavour to draw attention to this wholesale slaughter and give factual information on the horrors of termination by abortion are effectively silenced,” Mr Capill went on. “If only the walls of abortion clinics could talk, the fate of soulless day-old chicks would scarcely warrant a mention.”
“When”, he asked in conclusion, “are New Zealanders going to waken up to the real problems in the country rather than being obsessed with trivialities?”
