UNITED FUTURE TEAM READY TO
MAKE A DIFFERENCE
The launch of United Future
today aims to make a positive difference to politics in New
Zealand says Anthony Walton, deputy leader, United Future
New Zealand.
“Not only are we in this for the long haul, but we intend to have a positive influence on the 2002 General Election result.
“We will be there in increasing numbers. This is not about if and when, but rather how many of us will be there,” says Mr Walton.
He says the United Future team offers a unique blend of diversity, experience, personality and skill which will serve New Zealanders well. “If we look at our team of leader, myself as deputy, our president and vice-president, then we present a powerful front row.
“Over the coming months we will be reaching out to New Zealanders in all walks of life who share our commitment to families, good business and social policies and ultimately a better New Zealand.
“The principles that brought Future New Zealand into existence are broadly the same guiding principles that guide the new United Future New Zealand coalition being announced today.
“We are committed to making New Zealand the best country in the world even better. Future United will do this by playing to New Zealand’s strengths and always striving to make improvement where needed, while not forgetting those important things that make us proud to be New Zealanders,” concludes Mr Walton.
