Libertarianz Calls For PM’s Head
As the country slides inexorably into the third world, it now appears that, as in any tin-pot dictatorship, any dissent is to be punished. Helen Clark’s call for Roger Kerr’s head shows that free speech is no longer acceptable.
“Talking the economy down is now regarded as treason by the Clark junta,” notes Libertarianz leader Peter Cresswell. “’Toe the Party line or become an enemy of the State’ is today’s message,” he adds.
“The state is sovereign,” trumpeted Helen Clark before the election. Now it seems that that isn’t enough. “Helen is Sovereign” is the new cry.
Libertarianz believes that Helen Clark’s attempt to interfere in the running of a private organisation is completely unacceptable. It’s not Roger Kerr who should resign – it’s Helen Clark.
“She should stick to trampling on members of her Cabinet and leave the rest of us to get on with our own lives,” says Cresswell. “Rather than a busybody Minister of Everything, we’d much prefer that she was Minister of Nothing, and we look forward to that day.”
