Government sets clear direction for WINZ
The Social Services and Employment Minister, Steve Maharey, had a briefing meeting with Department of Work and Income (WINZ) Chief Executive, Christine Rankin, and senior officials this afternoon.
The meeting was very constructive. Mr. Maharey set out the expectations that WINZ will carry out as the priorities of the new Labour Government.
The Minister is looking forward to working positively with Mrs. Rankin.
