HAURAKI MARINE PARK BILL NEEDS A BETTER TREATY CLAUSE: HENARE
Mauri Pacific would not support the Hauraki Marine Park Bill its Leader, Hon Tau Henare, said today.
"The party is not satisfied that the treaty clause in the Bill encompasses the interests of Hauraki and therefore we will not be supporting it," he said.
"We're not convinced that there is no room to move further on this issue. Our view has been made clear to our colleagues in the National party for some time now.
