Labour will adopt business tax simplification plan

"Work to simplify tax compliance and other costs on business will continue under a Labour-led Government," Labour finance spokesperson Michael Cullen said today.
Dr Cullen was commenting on the release of two discussion documents: Less Taxing Tax and Interest Deductions for Companies.
He welcomed the initiatives and said they would continue under Labour but noted that the scope of the programme was "scarcely ambitious."
