Schnauer Will Be One Who Is Missed!

Published: Mon 20 Sep 1999 01:47 PM
Justice Minister Tony Ryall says retiring ACT MP Patricia Schnauer has made a significant contribution to the law and order debate in New Zealand.
"Mrs Schnauer is one of the sanest voices in the law and order debate.
"It is never easy being a conservative voice in a debate usually dominated by liberals. As the new Justice Minister I have valued her input into the work we have been doing to move the balance more towards victims and their rights.
"Those of us on the conservative side will miss her input and determination" said Mr Ryall.
