New Zealand First Leader, Winston Peters, says the death of Kingi Taurua is a great loss for the people of the North.
“Kingi will be remembered for his leadership and the dominant presence that he was in the North,” said Mr Peters.
“On behalf of New Zealand First, I extend our condolences to Kingi’s family and Ngāpuhi for their loss,” he said.
