Animations show it’s easy to have your say at Parliament

Two animated videos are being launched to encourage people to let Parliament know what they think.
The bite-sized videos describe the ways people can get involved with Parliament, including:
• Voting in a general election
• Contacting an MP
• Making a submission to a Select Committee
• Starting or signing a petition.
“The work of Parliament affects us all and everyone’s voice is important. Democracy works best when everyone in the country has their say,” said David Wilson, Clerk of the House of Representatives.
“We encourage people to watch and share these videos so they can see it’s easy to get involved with their Parliament.”
