DOMESTIC VIOLENCE PROTECTION BILL REQUIRES FURTHER DEBATE
New Zealand First will support the Domestic Violence – Victims’ Protection Bill to select committee.
“We are want to hear public submissions on the Bill. There may be some particular concerns for small and medium sized businesses,” says New Zealand First Spokesperson for Labour and Industrial Relations, Clayton Mitchell.
“Family violence statistics are alarmingly high.
“In our view all legislation which looks at reducing the impacts of family violence should be given proper consideration,” says Mr Mitchell.
