For release: Thursday 1 December
Australian Political Exchange group visits New Zealand.
South Australian MP, Samuel Duluk, and political staff from Australian Federal and State Parliaments will visit New Zealand from 4-9 December as part of the Australian Political Exchange.
New Zealand’s Speaker, Rt Hon David Carter, said that “this visit is part of a reciprocal programme between the New Zealand Parliament and Australian Parliament. This visit to New Zealand offers Australian delegates the opportunity to learn more about New Zealand, its political processes and issues; and deepens the relationship between current and future political leaders on both sides of the Tasman”.
The Australian delegation will be engaging with NZ Members of Parliament on a range of subjects, particularly on environment, industry and innovation, tourism, parliamentary processes and members engagement with electorates.
The delegation will be visiting Auckland, Rotorua, Wellington and Christchurch.
