EECA Board appointments

All three appointments are for three years, effective from 1 February 2016.

“Tom Campbell’s reappointment as Chair reflects his extensive leadership and governance experience,” says Mr Bridges.

“Phil Heatley – former Minister of Energy and Resources – will bring additional valuable energy sector expertise to the board, as well as his extensive experience working with central and local government agencies.”

EECA’s board is required to have a balanced mix of knowledge and experience in matters relevant to EECA’s functions and responsibilities. Members are required to have experience in or knowledge of the energy sector and the environment; community organisations; commerce; marketing and communications; governance and public sector management; and science and technology.

There are four additional members of the Authority: Marion Cowden (Deputy Chair), Janet Carson, David Coull, and Mervyn English.
