Great news for Palmerston North air passengers
Jono Naylor has welcomed this morning’s announcement that Jetstar will begin to offer flights to Palmerston North.
“This is a big win for Palmerston North,” Jono says.
“For quite some time now we’ve hoped we would get the nod for more flights, so it’s great to know that’s now going to
happen.
“More flights to Palmerston North means more visitors, more tourists and greater opportunities for the area, and it’s
always good to see healthy competition in the market.”
As the instigator of the Jetstar to Palmerston North Facebook page, Jono has been pleased with way the community has
responded. “It was fantastic to see the community get behind this project and send a clear message to Jetstar that this
service would be welcome and well utilised. I’d like to thank everyone for their support”
Jetstar’s additional services from Palmerston North will commence in December.
