Collins thrilled with support for Papakura seat
Judith Collins MP is thrilled to be returning to Parliament as the MP for Papakura after a clear majority in the preliminary results.
"I'm proud to represent the people of the Papakura electorate. They're a strong community and I truly value their support," Ms Collins says.
"I'm looking forward to continuing the fantastic work we're doing in the Papakura electorate to improve the lives of everyday New Zealanders."
Ms Collins is looking forward to resuming constituent clinics on Mondays. Constituents can make appointments by phoning 09 299 7426.
Ms Collins won the electorate with 14,001 votes, a majority of 4,851 over second place candidate, Labour's Jerome Mika.
"All of the Papakura candidates have put a lot of hard work into this campaign and it's been a privilege to run against them."
Ms Collins thanks her campaign team, family, friends and supporters in the electorate and around the country for their determination and continued support.
