MEDIA STATEMENT
Tim Barnett
General Secretary of The New Zealand Labour Party
Thursday 14 August 2014
The Labour Party is disturbed by new evidence relating to the breach of its data security in 2011 and the Prime Minister’s office, contained in Nicky Hager’s new book, Dirty Politics.
The Party is seeking legal and other advice, and we will be considering the matter at our scheduled New Zealand Council meeting this weekend in Auckland.
Meanwhile, we are focusing on running a positive campaign centred on the issues New Zealanders are telling us they care most about - work, home and families.
