Thanks Dover, We Won’t Let You Down
New Zealand First will live up to the expectations of former Labour Minister Dover Samuels, who has pledged his support for the party.
“Mr Samuels’ announcement that he will party vote for New Zealand First this election is also why so many everyday New Zealanders are turning to New Zealand First,” says New Zealand First Leader Rt Hon Winston Peters.
“People like Dover Samuels, especially those who are close to the reality of community life in our regions, know New Zealand First has not forgotten them.
“We are grateful for that support - we won't let you down, we expect to once again be in a position where we will have enough seats in parliament, representing a significant number of New Zealanders who want us to make sure that every piece of legislation is putting New Zealand's interests first.
“We have seen the National Party put the interests of the United States (albeit our friends), Maori elite, share traders (not investors but the Wolves of Wall Street) and foreign business interests, ahead of most New Zealanders,” says Mr Peters.
