Nominations for 2014 North Wellington Voluntary Service Awards Now Open
Ohariu MP Peter Dunne says nominations for the 2014 North Wellington Service Awards are now open.
Mr Dunne who chairs the Awards Committee says people who have performed a minimum of five years voluntary service in the northern suburbs for a recognised voluntary organisation are eligible for an Award.
Mr Dunne established the scheme in 2001 and to date approximately 120 Awards have been made to local volunteers.
Award nomination forms are available from Mr Dunne's Johnsonville Electorate Office. Nominations close on 11 July, and the 2014 Awards will be presented at a special dinner on 30 August.
