Request for Proposal (RFP) Process Underway– Whanau Ora Commissioning Agencies for the North Island, South Island and
Pacific Families
Minister for Whanau Ora Tariana Turia has announced the Request for Proposal (RFP) Process is now underway for Whanau
Ora Commissioning Agencies for the North Island, South Island and Pacific families.
Te Puni Kokiri is responsible for leading the non-governmental organisation (NGO) procurement process with support from
the Ministries of Pacific Island Affairs; Business, Innovation and Employment and Treasury.
“This new commissioning model is an important stage in the progress of Whanau Ora that will maintain confidence in
whanau and families to realise their own aspirations and enable their leadership and innovation,” says Minister Turia.
