Supergold Card Benefits Keep Coming
New Zealand First has commended Challenge Service Stations for introducing an 8 cents per litre discount on up to 100 litres petrol for over 600,000 SuperGold Card holders nationwide.
The SuperGold Card was introduced by New Zealand First in 2007 and recently surpassed 10,000 businesses participating in the scheme.
New Zealand First leader Rt Hon Winston Peters says it is heartening to see a transport discount that can be used by SuperGold Card members in the regions – especially when petrol prices hit an all-time high last month.
“One of the concerns we hear about the SuperGold Card is the public transport discounts don’t have the same benefit in the regions as they do in the cities.
“This fuel discount will go some way to rectifying that by giving regional SuperGold Card holders a decent discount on their transport costs.
“Challenge Service Stations need to be congratulated for stepping up and offering this discount for SuperGold Card holders,” says Mr Peters.
