• Beginning New Zealand’s much-needed debate on the future of superannuation with a Government Discussion Paper on Flexi Super
• Establishing the Families Commission’s annual Family Status Report that will help keep policy-makers and politicians alike on track and family-focused
• Putting in place the Game Animal Council and the end of guided helicopter hunting on the conservation estate
• Introduction of pre-release alcohol and drug dependence assessments for prisoners
• Passage of a new, fairer Child Support regime into law that reflects modern families, the modern lifestyle and modern work and the needs of our children
• A new party pills and other psychoactive substances regime that will make the industry pay to prove their products are safe
• Release of the new Suicide Prevention Action Plan
