PM Should Provide Evidence Or Apologise – Peters

New Zealand First is calling on Prime Minister John Key to name the doctors who are breaking the law by committing acts of euthanasia in our hospitals.

Rt Hon Winston Peters says if Mr. Key has evidence that crimes have been committed then he is duty bound to hand it to the police for full and proper investigation.

“It would be totally irresponsible of the Prime Minister to simply say he knows that euthanasia is being carried out in hospitals without having any concrete evidence.

“He needs to present that evidence to the police.

“If he doesn’t have any evidence then he should apologise to doctors and medical professionals for tarnishing their reputation,” says Mr. Peters.
