Tax Rates: Budget Day
“It’s well and truly time for this country to bridge the gap between the rich and the poor,” says MANA Leader Hone Harawira.
“On the day of the budget, as a country we should be entering into a debate about what the top tax rate for New Zealand should be and if we should introduce a tax free threshold. If we are serious about closing the income gap between the rich and the poor, then reforming the tax rates plays a major role”.
