UnitedFuture the only party to walk the walk on outdoor recreation
“Others may pretend they represent the interests of the outdoors community but the only party that walks the walk and not just talks the talk is UnitedFuture,” says leader Peter Dunne.
“Our ability to access and freely enjoy our unique natural environment is one of the defining characteristics of the Kiwi way of life, UnitedFuture is the only party committed to protecting that” said Mr Dunne.
“Whether it has been setting up the Game Animal Review Panel, forming the Game Animal Council, advocating for continued access rights to public resources, vocal opposing 1080 and heli-hunting, working with the recreational fishing sector to better manage our inshore fishery, rejecting efforts to increase the damming of wild rivers, and increasing the period of daylight saving by three weeks a year – UnitedFuture has always stood up for the interests of outdoor recreationists.”
“Other parties are quick to promise heaven and earth to the outdoor community but they have never delivered meaningful results.”
“No matter what, UnitedFuture will remain a committed advocate for the outdoor community, however the reality is the more MPs we have the greater our influence within the next Government,” said Mr Dunne.
“With one MP we have punched far above our weight but only a small bounce in the party vote to 1.2% will gain the outdoor community a second MP and 2.1% a third.”
“If you want a Government that represents your interests and protects our outdoor heritage for future generations, party vote UnitedFuture.”
