Following Question Time today, a notice of motion to stop a by-election being held in the vacant seat of Te Atatū was passed on a voice vote.
Acting Leader of the House Simon Power moved that the House move into urgency to pass the remaining stages of the Video Camera Surveillance (Temporary Measures) Bill, the Sleepover Wages (Settlement) Bill and the adjournment debate.
